Last night was a splendid evening as we were graced with the presence of our amazing District Governor, Sandi Schwartz. When district governors visit clubs, they in general, get a feel for how clubs run their board and club meetings. Afterwards, they give a "state of the district address" where we learn how things are going in Rotary. Tonight was no different as we dressed to impress, ate some delicious food,  and drank a little Timber -- The Official District Drink.

President Linda and DG Sandi presented quite a few Paul Harris awards. One of which, Rotarian Rick Grossman presented to his 1 year old daughter. Congrats to Rob Sherman and Terry Talley as well.

DG Sandi also presented two "People of Action" awards to Rotarians Paula Miller and Stephanie Sieminski. These are awarded by DG Sandi to those who have gone above and beyond.

To conclude the meeting, DG Sandi read a passage from "Uncle John's Endlessy Engrossing Bathroom Reader" in which we all had a good laugh. The book was then presented to Rotarian Chuck Carmichael.

Thanks for a wonderful evening!
