This evening our speakers to us with three Labrador puppies who are all in different stages of their training to be future guide dogs.  Very interesting topic and knowing that 60% of the puppies go on to actually server is great news.  Such a great organization.  I personally am not sure if I could spend 18 months with a dog and be able to give it up to someone else.

In addition to the puppies Paula Miller finally received her PHF +1 pin and Floyd McCrary was the winner of the Happy Bucks PHF.  He put in the 1,000 dollar.  So happy that our club is so willing to donate money to Rotary International.

If you though that things could not get any better you would be wrong.  We had two members proposed. Gurren Hovhannisayan and Maggie Kestly have both expressed interesting in joining our club and in a quick board meeting they have been accepted for proposal.  Love that we are finding people that share the need to give back.
