Why Join Rotary?

Maybe you’ve seen a need in our community and wondered how you could help. Maybe you want to use your professional skills to help others — or even learn new skills. Maybe you’re seeking connections with other service-minded professionals in your community or abroad. Whatever your reason, joining Rotary can help you achieve these goals, and so much more. See why our members have joined our club:

I joined for the service aspect. Networking was never my goal. I stay for the hundreds of friends, including some of my closest friends that I have made over 28 years. In Rotary we generally have the same values and a heart for giving back to those less fortunate and to make our community and world a better place to live. Very, very few organizations will allow you to follow your passion for service for literally decades and also provide opportunities for leadership, training, mentoring and expanding your knowledge of local issues and activities.

The main reason I joined Rotary is that it is a service organization and I feel that is what humans are supposed to do…help those that need it. Making time for Rotary is a pleasure, not a burden, as I think it is wonderful how Rotarians strive to better the community as well as the world. I am proud to be a part of a group that strives to make a difference. The social aspect of Rotary is the gravy on top of my Thanksgiving mashed potatoes!

Rotary allows me to give to those in need at home, and around the world. I get to socialize with outstanding business people with the same passion for taking care of others. What better way to spend your free time. I love Rotary!!

I was looking for a group that was passionate about contributing to their community. Rotary’s motto: Service above self, couldn’t be more fitting and was exactly what I was looking for. When I joined this group, I felt a unique camaraderie not only on a business/professional/networking level, but on a personal and familiar level. They are like family.

I like what Rotary stands for and what it does all over the world. But what brings me to Rotary and keeps me coming back is the people. Doing the good things we do with wonderful people is the best.

It gives me a chance to give back to my community … It’s easy to write a check to your favorite charity, but this was our actions speak louder than words.

Service above self!
